My first time in Las Vegas was not as entertaining. I was underage and too young to engage legally in particular activities especially drinking alcohol or having fun. It wasn't until my first time there with G that I truly experienced Sin City. It is to the benefit of Society that there is no video footage of this event. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! (Because if you do Vegas right, you can't remember!)
G's birthday was May 1st. It was the perfect occasion to return to Las Vegas. So on the Saturday before his birthday we called our friend Susie Q, jumped in her car and drove straight there.
We stayed at Caesar's Palace. It was our first time staying there. I don't know if it was G's luck but we scored an amazing room at a killer price. Winning. When I opened the door to our room I jumped around doing the happy dance! The room opened up from a bathroom to a bedroom to a sitting area to a view of the strip.
The next day we woke up, walked the strip to have a late breakfast and then we hit the pool. Again, I don't know if it was G's luck but we got perfect weather. Winning!
The pool, or pools, were amazing. We swam until our fingers got wrinkly. The water was perfect. I did not want to leave. But we also had to eat. After the pool we went to dinner, then did some window shopping and then partied all night until the sun came up!
On the drive home on Monday I remember thinking to myself, "Now I need another vacation to recover from this vacation." But, that didn't happen. Once I got back home it was time to practice with HTTH because we had a show in Hollywood at the Rainbow on Friday. The party continues. 'Til next time!!!

Amazing! I don’t think the birthday could get any better. I might just do the same thing next year with my husband. This year we had to celebrate it here only in one of the Seattle venues because he had fractured his leg, but next year it is surely going to be as rocking as your time.
