SUMMER ROAD TRIP TO SOLVANG & PISMO BEACH!

Summer time is my favorite time of the year.  I love everything that comes with it,  the hot weather, weekend trips to the beach, iced coffee, ice cream, wearing less clothes!  I especially love taking road trips in the summer, going to different cities and getting to know new places!  Road trips are like a grown up version of running away from home!

I recently took a road trip with my partner in crime, Gerardo Christ, to Solvang, California.  Solvang is so pretty!  It is about a 45 minute drive from Santa Barbara on Highway101.  We stayed at a place called the Hamlet Inn and it was so nice.  They offer complimentary bikes, so we rode the bikes around the whole city!

Solvang also has a mission called Mission Santa Inez.  The mission overlooks the Santa Inez Valley.  This place is sacred to the Chumash people, so you know it's amazing!  The mission also has a cemetery.  It is a beautiful place and so relaxing.

The next day was my birthday.  The day was absolutely beautiful and we got back on Highway 101 and drove to Pismo Beach!  For G's birthday, in May, we went to Las Vegas.  (You can read that blog post here!) Las Vegas is amazing and I would recommend it but I could live in Pismo Beach.  The beach is so incredibly beautiful!!!

We found an amazing beach that we saw from up above the cliffs.  The view was so beautiful so we figured we would hike down and see what it was all about and it was incredible.  It was literally deserted.  There was nobody there!  We spent the day exploring the area.  I wasn't able to film much because we spent most of the day boogie boarding but i was able to capture some really cool footage!

Later in the day we got refreshed, showered and went out for food and snacks!  The sunset was so amazing.  We found a Mexican restaurant and ate tacos and chiles rellenos.  When we got back home, in lieu of a bomb fire, we turned on the chimney in our room and drank wine in our balcony until everything got blurry perfect!

The next morning we woke up, made coffee and decided to google the nearest bakery near by.  I found a cinnamon-roll shop that was a 2 minute walk from our hotel.  So we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, because we are serious adults!

This is the video blog of our summer road trip to Solvang and Pismo Beach!  Hit play!  Music by Heavenly Trip To Hell "Drug Solution Remix".

Life is incredible!  Thank you for stopping by.  I will see you guys in my next blog!!
