The color of the beach in Waikiki is so AMAZING!!! It is stunning. Waikiki has something for everybody but I definitely had the best time just chilling in the blue ocean water and getting some sun. I love the beach. I was born to live on the beach! I recently had the opportunity to go back to Waikiki and fell in love all over again. I love you Waikiki!!
Let me start from the beginning. My really close friends Oscar and Gina decided to get married in Hawaii and invited the whole crew to come along. What a better excuse for a getaway than a destination wedding??? Everyone got on board and we took a direct flight to Honolulu! Five hours later we were in Waikiki drinking POG and checking into our condos.

The next day was the wedding!!! I mean, Honolulu, Hawaii is paradise but that day was total bliss!! The ceremony took place on the beach and was absolutely heavenly!

The wedding was definitely the highlight of our trip. But, that was not the end of our adventure! We had a few days left of vacation so we spent the rest of the week exploring Waikiki and the rest of the island.
We spent most of our time in the water catching sun rays and relaxing in the ocean, but we also visited the Zoo, we went snorkeling and walked as much of downtown as we could. The nightlife inWaikiki is popping! There are street performers on every corner and the shopping scene is ridiculous! Waikiki is a shopper's paradise. Our condos were walking distance to everything. We became total locals!
And just when we thought we had seen it all, we rented a car and took a road trip! Yes we did! We drove from Waikiki to Diamond head, to Hanauma Bay (which is also where we went snorkeling!) to Sandy Beach park to Lanikai Beach to Tropical Farms to the Dole Plantation and the North Shore. We got to tour a macadamia nut farm where they gave us free samples and delicious Kuna coffee. We made a quick stop at the Dole plantation and saw pineapple plants. (Yes, they grow from the ground!) We even saw sea turtles chilling on the beach! Honolulu has some of the most amazing and breathtaking views I have ever seen.
