What's up guys? Vicky Vicious here coming at you with another blog post about art & culture. Saturday night was so awesome!! I got to check out a free art show in Long Beach featuring some amazing murals and local art by some amazing artists.
The art show was called Hello Welcome. When I got there the line was down the street and around the corner. The place was packed. It was the first part of a series of art shows put together by some amazing and very talented artists. Apparently these artists decided to put this show together in order to bring the city and the people together. A way to get neighbors to meet and introduce themselves to each other and to promote art and unity! That's why they called it "Hello Welcome." So inspirational, especially during these times when there is so much hate. They really did an outstanding job. The murals were beautiful. The art was amazing. The warehouse was super industrial. Everyone in attendance was super chill. I mean, this was some other level work. The show was sponsored by the Arts Council and the City of Long Beach.

I felt so blessed to be in attendance and so happy that the artists decided to put this show together
to bring all of us there. Hopefully this
will inspire more artist to do more events like this.
Big shout out to all the artists and everyone involved with this beautiful project. Also big shout out to G for telling me about it and Juan and Susie Q for coming along!! I can't wait for the next one!
